We develop long, strong relationships with the best local suppliers, which means that you can buy food which is made in our region with care, integrity and pride. From top to bottom, we know our stuff, so if you need help choosing a great beer or spanking-fresh piece of fish, just ask.

Every second counts when it comes to getting hold of the freshest possible fish, and we’ve got some of the best in the business on our side.

With skilled farmers raising great-quality animals on our doorstep, it’s a pleasure to be able to source 80% of our meat from the region.

Our buyer’s ethos is to offer cheeses which have something to say, whether they’re from the region or simply the best of their type.

Our senior team has over 40 years of wine-buying experience between them, and our wine range extends to more than 800 bins.

Many of our fruit and vegetable suppliers are extremely close to us and our customers, and as a result our fresh produce really is fresh.

Good bread is one of the great pleasures of the table, and the small craft bakeries of our region are exceptionally talented.

Visiting one of our deli counters is like coming face-to-face with a dream picnic. Whatever your favorite we've got it.

Our founder Edwin Henry Booth started as a tea dealer and travelled often in search of excellent tea and coffee.

We have over 200 bottled beers, many brewed locally, and more than 40 great ciders.
