Second TV campaign for Booths

Nov

Leading regional retailer Booths is to embark on its second TV campaign in two years.

The advert which commences 29th November and runs until 23rd December focuses on ‘Booths Country’, highlighting the regionality and provenance which Booths is known for.  Yorkshire Poet Ian McMillan was commissioned for the voice over, but also wrote the poem featured in the adverts especially for Booths.

Filmed predominately in Windermere and the surrounding areas, the TV campaign will comprise two separate adverts.  One 40” commercial, with six different 10” adverts highlighting half price deals.  The adverts will be shown on Granada and Border, across a range of programmes, including; the live Coronation Street edition to mark its 50th birthday, regular Coronation Street and Emmerdale slots, I’m a Celebrity and Countrywise Great British Food.

The campaign will also be supported by radio adverts on Classic FM and local and national press advertising.

Sarah Burns, senior marketing manager says: “We felt the time was right for us to commission TV with the emphasis not only on awareness of Booths, but to encourage customers into store and take advantage of our half price deals. We’ve selected the best products and we are committed to being competitive on price, whilst maintaining the quality of our offer.”
