A spring tradition which gets everyone around the table, our new season British lamb is lean and fresh, with a firm, light texture. Our supply follows the weather, starting in Devon and the south where lambs are born earlier, and moving northwards. New season lamb is available at the butchery counter and as carefully pre-packed cuts, and our buyer’s favourite is loin chops.

Seasonal food is food at its best: delicious, plentiful, and special. As the year progresses, the changing seasons bring treats like Yorkshire forced rhubarb, new season lamb and Rocha pears. Our buyers understand food and farming, and because they buy in small quantities and know our suppliers well, they enjoy being able to bring seasonal treats into our stores as soon as they're ready to eat.
