Old Hardisty Smokery

Located in the Yorkshire Dales, Old Hardisty is part of Yorkshire Speciality Foods, founded in 2022 by Andrew Hardisty after 25 years as a chef in the hospitality industry. A heritage of smoked and cured products dating back to the Hardisty family in the 1400s with that tradition continuing today using time-honoured methods and responsibly sourced ingredients. Their mission is to create truly artisan products that celebrate Yorkshire’s rich culinary history, and their traditional dry-cured Olde York Ham represents this, inspired by historic Yorkshire recipes.

Each ham is produced in small batches and carefully cured using a blend of natural salts and spices, then matured to develop a deep, savoury flavour and firm texture. This process ensures a distinctive taste that reflects centuries of Yorkshire craftsmanship.
