BBQ Lamb Chops with Jack Daniels Maple Glaze

  • 6 lamb chops
  • For The Maple Glaze:
  • 2tbsp maple syrup
  • 1tbsp brown sauce
  • 1tbsp Jack Daniel’s
  • 1tsp smoked paprika
  • 1tsp garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary



  1. To make the glaze, place the syrup, brown sauce, Jack Daniel’s, paprika, garlic salt and rosemary into a small bowl and mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  2. Brush each lamb chop with the glaze and grill under a medium heat for 4 minutes.
  3. Turn over the chops, glaze again and continue to cook for another 4 minutes.
  4. Remove from the grill and allow to rest for 4 minutes then brush with more sauce, warm under the grill for a minute and serve with salad.

Chef’s Tip:
You can use this marinade to create slow cooked pulled lamb. Rub the marinade onto a lamb shoulder and then cook the lamb in a slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours until tender. Pull the soft meat with two forks and serve with flatbreads, salad and rice.
