These Terms set out the terms agreed between you and E.H.Booth & Co Limited. Please read the Terms carefully as they contain important information.

Booths run both free and bookable, ticketed events. If your event is a non-bookable, free event any terms and conditions in reference to booking do not apply.

Where to find information about us and our services

You can find everything you need to know about us, E.H.Booth & Co Limited and our services on our website, before you make a booking. We also confirm the key information to you in writing after you order, by email.

Attending a Ticketed Event

1. When you buy a ticket to an event from us you are agreeing that:

  1. We only accept booking requests when we’ve checked them. We charge you when you submit your booking request.
  2. Attendance at the Event
  3. We’re not responsible for delays/issues outside our control.
  4. You have a right to change your mind under our goodwill guarantee
  5. We can make changes to Events and to these terms.
  6. We can postpone or rearrange Events (and you have rights if we do).
  7. We don’t compensate you for all losses that may be caused by us or our services.
  8. We use your personal data as set out in our Privacy Notice.
  9. You have several options for resolving disputes with us.
  10. Other important terms apply to our contract.
  11. We only accept bookings when we’ve checked them

1.1.      You must confirm your name and personal details to us prior to attending the Event (“a pop up event held by E.H.Booth & Co Limited for which you are submitting a booking request”) at the time of making the booking.

1.2.      You will receive an automatic confirmation which will confirm our acceptance at the time of booking. We charge you when you make the booking online.

1.3.      You can edit your booking and change your name and/or transfer your booking to another person by contacting us using the contact form on the event booking page or emailing events@booths.co.uk with full details of your changes. You must do so no later than 24 hours before the Event to allow sufficient time for new tickets to be generated. You cannot edit or amend your booking within 24 hours of the Event.

  1. Attendance at the Event

2.1.      The details of the Event shown in any publicity supplied by us to you are correct at the time of printing/publishing online, but we have the right to make changes to the Event as detailed in clause 6 below and you shall be responsible for checking with us that no alterations or amendments have been made. We will endeavour to communicate any alterations or amendments to the details of the Event.

2.2.      You shall at all times comply with any rules, policies and procedures of the venue of the Event, including all health and safety policies and procedures and all reasonable instructions of the venue staff and our representatives at the Event. We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to exclude or remove from the Event any person whose presence in our reasonable opinion is or is likely to be undesirable without prejudice to any other rights or remedies available to us.

2.3.      Some of our Events may include the service of alcohol. We operate a Think 25 policy, and you may need to give us proof of ID/ age when you attend at the Event. If you are not (or we reasonably believe you are not) 18 years old, we may not be able to allow you to attend the Event and/or consume alcohol.

2.4.      Product information in relation to food and drink at Events is constantly being reformulated, so ingredients, nutrition content, dietary information and allergens may change. You should always read the product labels, review allergen signage and ask us questions prior to and at the Event. You can contact us at events@booths.co.uk if you have any concerns regarding allergies. It is therefore essential that you verify all such information directly with us before relying upon it.

2.5.      If you purchase any goods or services from any third-party vendors at our Event, then you understand that you are entering into an agreement directly with that third party vendor and we are not responsible for the goods or services provided by that third party or for any losses you suffer connected with the supply of goods or services or otherwise connected with your agreement with that third party vendor.

  1. We’re not responsible for delays outside our control

3.1.      If our supply of your service/provision of the Event is delayed/has to be postponed by an event outside our control, including but not limited to the collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident, acts of God, flood, drought or earthquake, interruption or delays to transportation, epidemic or pandemic, interruption or failure of utility service, any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition, or failing to grant a necessary licence or consent we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and do what we can to reduce the delay. As long as we do this, we won’t compensate you for any delay, but if the delay is likely to be substantial you can contact us via the contact form on the event booking page or at events@booths.co.uk to cancel your booking and receive a refund for any services/Events you have paid for in advance, but not received.

  1. You have a right to change your mind under our goodwill guarantee.

Your right to change your mind.

4.1.      For all bookings made online, E. H Booth & Co Limited may allow our UK customers the option to transfer your original booking to another Event (at a later date). You can request to transfer your booking no later than 24 hours before the Event by contacting our Customer Service Team: events@booths.co.uk requesting your transfer with details of the new Event you would like to attend. All requests will be accepted at our discretion. Transfer of your bookings must be to an event with the same pricing of your original event and there must be an event to choose from. In the scenario that there isn’t an event to choose from, you may request to cancel your booking and be refunded as per clause 4.2.

How to let us know and what happens next.

4.2.      If you change your mind at any time, E.H.Booth & Co Limited offer our customers a goodwill guarantee. You may be entitled to cancel your booking up at any time up to 24 hours before the Event, [which will be accepted at our discretion] but you lose the right to cancel any booking, within 24  hours of the Event. If you change your mind, you can contact us via the online contact form on the event booking page or email events@booths.co.uk. We will process your refund as soon as possible, within 14 days of you telling us you’ve changed your mind.

4.3.      We refund you by the method you used for payment. Your refund should take between 7-14 days for payment to reach your bank account.

4.4.      We don’t charge a fee for the refund.

4.5.      All refunds and void are final. We will not be able to cancel or reverse the refund process.

  1. We can change the services/Events and these terms

5.1.      Changes we can always make. We can always change a service/Event:

  • to reflect changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements; and
  • to make minor adjustments and improvements. These are changes that don’t affect the overall nature of the service/Event – and might include minor changes to start and end times and running order/details and content of the Event.

5.2.      Changes we can only make if we give you notice and an option to terminate: We can also make the following types of change to the Event or to these terms, but if we do so we’ll notify you and you can then contact us via the online contact form on the event booking page or by emailing events@booths.co.uk to end the contract before the change takes effect and receive a refund for any services you’ve paid for in advance, but not received:

  • change of venue;
  • change of start time or end time >1 hour;
  • significant changes to the running order/details and content of the Event; and
  • products/service received as part of the Event where we have specified this at the time of booking
  1. We can postpone or re-arrange the Event (and you have rights if we do)

6.1.      We can cancel Events. We will let you know as soon as we can in advance (unless the problem is urgent or an emergency) and refund any sums you’ve paid in advance for services/ Event which won’t be provided or take place.

6.2.      We can re-arrange the Event. We will let you know as soon as we can in advance (unless the problem is urgent or an emergency) and provide you with confirmation of the new date and time of the Event. You have the option to ask for a refund by contacting us via the online contact form on the event booking page or email events@booths.co.uk if you do not wish to attend the new Event.

  1. We don’t compensate you for all losses caused by us or our services

7.1.      We’re responsible for losses you suffer caused by us breaking this contract unless the loss is:

  • Unexpected. It was not obvious that it would happen and nothing you said to us before we accepted your booking request meant we should have expected it (so, in the law, the loss was unforeseeable).
  • Caused by a delaying event outside our control. As long as we have taken the steps set out in the section we’re not responsible for delays outside our control.
  • Avoidable. Something you could have avoided by taking reasonable action, including following our reasonable instructions.
  • A business loss. It relates to your use of a product, service or Event for the purposes of your trade, business, craft or profession.

8.1.      How we use any personal data you give us is set out in our Privacy Notice: click here to view. Please be aware that our booking provider TryBooking also processes your personal data, and a link to their Privacy Notice can be found here https://www.trybooking.com/uk/info/privacy.

8.2       We may take photos and/or film at events which may be used for marketing purposes such as on social media, on our website and in other digital and printed communications. We may not be able to retrospectively delete these images. The photos and/or film may also be shared with third party suppliers where necessary.

8.3       If you do not wish to appear in any images or video captured, please let a Booths colleague know before the event starts, so we can take the appropriate steps to ensure you’re not included.   1. You have several options for resolving disputes with us

9.1.      Submit a complaint. Our Team at events@booths.co.uk will do their best to resolve any problems you have with us or our services.

9.2.      You can go to court. These terms are governed by English law and wherever you live you can bring claims against us in the English courts. If you live in Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring claims against us in the courts of the country you live in. We can claim against you in the courts of the country you live in.

  1. Other important terms apply to our contract

10.1.We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying your service. We’ll contact you to let you know if we plan to do this. If you’re unhappy with the transfer you can contact us via the online contact form on the event booking page or be emailing events@booths.co.uk to end the contract within 14 days of us telling you about it and we will refund you any payments you’ve made in advance for services not provided.

10.2.     You can only transfer your contract with us to someone else if we agree to this. We may not agree if the Event has already taken place. However, you can transfer our guarantee to a new recipient of the service. We can require the new owner to prove you transferred the service to them, for example by showing an updated ticket or booking confirmation to the Event.

10.3.     Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it and neither of us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it.

10.4.     If a court invalidates some of this contract, the rest of it will still apply. If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.

10.5.     Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you’re not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do it later.
