Fracking statement from Booths

Booths are not taking a stance for or against the case for shale gas extraction. Booths are first and foremost, food retailers, and must address their focus to the business of retailing quality food and drink. Following the government ruling on fracking in Lancashire, there still remains debate over this issue.

Edwin Booth, as well as being Executive Chairman of Booths, has a number of roles in the community. Edwin attended the ‘Putting Lancashire First’ event on Friday morning entirely in his capacity as Non-Executive Chairman of the Lancashire Enterprise Partnership.
