English garden peas

Catch our sweet, tender garden peas in their pods while you can. Their season is brief, but summer isn’t quite the same without popping the pods straight into your mouth. If there are any left, enjoy them blitzed into a crostini topping with roasted garlic, braised with shredded lettuce, bacon and stock, or just buttered and piled high alongside lemon roast chicken.
