Booths Crowned Best Supermarket In The People’s Choice Wine Awards 2021

We are delighted to say that, thanks to your votes, we have been crowned Best Supermarket in the People’s Choice Wine Awards for the second year running!

We received some fantastic praise from voters, including:

Great selection of wines and some lovely own brand wines that are a joy to drink.

Superb selection of quality wines to suit all budgets coupled with the very best customer service in the UK. An undisputed winner! 

The staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to recommend wines based on personal taste or to encourage you to spread your wings with something you may have not considered.

Consistently good selection, knowledgeable staff, local and ethical company

Booths is simply brilliant. The choice and quality is second to none with products unique to the brand and their ethos is wonderful choosing local suppliers as their main focal point. I especially like their wine and beer ranges, again very diverse and never had a bad bottle of wine. The staff are always happy and willing to help. I shop at my local booths regularly and always enjoy my visits.

We’re proud to have also secured the top award within the Food Friendly Wine category. Booths Gran Norte Rioja Crianza (£10.25) won the Best Red For Easy Weekday Meals award. Victoria Anderson described the award-winning wine as ‘a very expressive and classic Rioja bursting with red berry fruit against a balsamic, liquorice and cedar background.’
