Simple Swaps For Healthy Curry
Follow our top tips to make your curry recipes a little healthier:
- For a protein packed vegetarian curry try using Paneer, lentils or legumes as a meat alternative.
- Cauliflower, squash and sweet potato are great centrepieces. Onion, spinach, peas, peppers and tomatoes are fantastic to bulk out your curry and add in even more flavour.
- Use 0% fat natural or Greek yoghurt for tikka marinade instead of full fat yoghurt.
- Swap out white rice for wholegrain rice such as brown basmati rice which has a high fibre content.
