We regularly hold wine events throughout the year, with special offers across a wide range of wines. Our next event is running from 24th August – 29th September 2022 where you can save 25% on selected wine bottles of wine. Don’t forget, you can also save 5% on purchases of 6 bottles of wine all year round, this is deducted after any other offers are applied.

Masottina Prosecco

Masottina Prosecco NV Extra Dry (75cl)

This Prosecco has fine, persistant bubbles and a delicate nose of apples and apricots. On the palate, fresh grapefruit, lemon, and lime contribute to a fresh yet soft mouthfeel.

Recipe Suggestion: Strawberry Mille-Feuille

Chateau Queyret Pouillac

Château Queyret-Pouillac (75cl)

Beautiful deep color, notes of coffee and black cherry, powerful, structured, expressive, bold and melted, woody notes and red fruits in the finish. Serve as an aperitif, with salmon starters, or fruity desserts.

Recipe Suggestion: Argentinian Metembre

Cotes du Rhone

Belles Lettres Côtes Du Rhône Blanc (75cl)

Our Côtes du Rhône Blanc is about delicacy: aromas on the floral side rather than sweet fruit, with a fresh profile continuing to the palate. A richly flavoured wine with enough texture to pair creamy sauces.


Recipe Suggestion: Salmon & Kale Stuffed Conchiglie

Beronia Rioja

Beronia Rioja Crianza (75cl)

This Crianza is intensely fruity, with blackberry and strawberry characters and hints of spice and vanilla. Aged in mixed oak barrels for 12 months and bottle for a further year. Serve with pork chops or cured Iberico meats.

Recipe Suggestion: Pork Loin Chops with Spiced Clementine Sauce

Cune Rioja

Cune Barrel Fermented Rioja (75cl)

A hugely enjoyable rich and creamy white Rioja with aromas of pear, apple and white currant, intertwined with fresh citrus flavours on the palate and a toasty rounded finish. The ideal pairing for white meat, fish, pasta and rice.

Recipe suggestion: Smoked Trout Pate

Ramon Bilbao Rioja

Ramón Bilbao Rioja Rosado (75cl)

An award winning rose from the famous Ramon Bilbao house in Rioja. This is a crisp, dry rose with a hint of raspberry on the nose and palate. Ideal as an aperitif this would also go with seafood or chicken dishes.

Recipe Suggestion: Coconut & Cardamom Chicken Traybake

Cousiño-Macul Antiguas Reservas Cabernet (75cl)

Intense cherry and strawberry fruit with a spicy pepper note and a touch of mintiness. It is elegant and well-structured with excellent length. Great with roast or bbq meat, also with blue and goats’ cheese.

Recipe Suggestion: Roast Topside of Beef with Pink Peppercorn Crust

Chapel Down English Rose Sparkling NV (75cl)

A delicate rosé, petal pink in colour, with fine bubbles, lemon sherbet on the nose with hints of blackcurrant, rosehip and wild strawberry on the palate. A great choice for any celebration. Ideal as an aperitif, with canapés or summer fruit pudding.

Recipe suggestion: Strawberry & Champagne Eclair

Torres Viña Esmeralda (75cl)

Highly aromatic with rose and lychee note. Soft and seductive on the palate. Well worth trying with aromatic and spicy Asian food.

Recipe suggestion: Chinese Crispy Ginger Sea Bass

Ramon Bilbao Rueda Sauvignon Blanc (75cl)

From the famous Ramon Bilbao house this crisp, dry Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of cut grass, citrus fruits and exotic fruits such as lychee. Great with all types of seafood, grilled vegetables or as an aperitif.

Recipe suggestion: Seafood Burger

Vilarnau Brut Reserva Gaudi (75cl)

Bright pale straw colour with a steadily rising stream of fine bubbles. Pronounced appley fruit with a great balance between ripe fruit and delicate acidity. Great with seafood or poultry.

Recipe suggestion: King Prawn Tagliatelle

Boschendal

Boschendal 1685 Shiraz (75cl)

Aromas of cherries, mulberries, plum and exotic white pepper spice. Rich and juicy with silky ripe tannins, showing elegant freshness and length with a lingering fruit finish. Serve with rich lamb or game dishes and hard mature cheeses.

Recipe suggestion: Pot Roasted Lamb with Chorizo

Botham Chardoanny

Botham 76 Series Chardonnay (75cl)

Delicate ethereal notes of citrus blossom, honeysuckle and peach on the nose. Refined fruit flavours of honey dew, citrus and fig with a sprinkle of nutmeg and mineral acidity to the finish. Accompanies roast chicken beautifully, or try just chilled on its own.

Recipe suggestion: Persian Spatchcock Chicken

Premius Cremant

Premius Crémant De Bordeaux (75cl)

Fresh and elegant on the nose with lime aromas, enhanced by hints of orange and green mango. Persistent mousse and a creamy citrus edge to the finish. An alternative choice for a celebration!

Recipe suggestion: Chocolate Afternoon Tea

Juan Gil

Juan Gil Yellow Label Monastrell (75cl)

An intense, deep cherry red colour with attractive dark fruit and spice on the nose. Well balanced with soft tannins and a very long finish. Good on its own or with a variety of red meats or grilled vegetables.

Recipe suggestion: Slow Cooker Beef Rendang

Booths have a proud history of importing fantastic quality wines since 1870, with a current range of over 600 wines, sourced and curated by our wine buyer Victoria Anderson. She honed her wine tasting and buying skills at a fine wine merchants in London, buying wines from all over the world, before joining us here at Booths.
